The Future Business Leaders of America completed observance of FBLA Week

which takes place each February. Activities were planned each day. On Monday,
students who have acquired over 75 merit points, attained perfect meeting
attendance or earned a Business Achievement Award or Community Service Award
were recognized. Tuesday brought Mayor Eric Kamler to the school to sign a
proclamation with the FBLA officers and to attend the joint breakfast held with
FCCLA and FFA students. Go Green was the emphasis for Wednesday when
members and students were encouraged to wear green and/or brown to school.
Thursday was wear your chapter t-shirt to school day and a chapter picture was
taken. A fun meeting was held in the evening with pizza, games, and gift exchange.
The week ended with attendance at the UNL Competition Day.
The FBLA chapter has 55 members and has been busy throughout the year with
many different activities and community service projects. Chapter adviser is Cindy
