Fillmore Central has been notified of a suspicious vehicle that is approaching children in Geneva asking if they would like some candy. Please contact the Fillmore County Sheriff at 402-759-4441 to report any suspicious vehicles or incidences. We ask that you remind your child to not have communication with someone they do not know and to contact a trusted adult immediately if a stranger attempts to interact with them.
The middle school is in need of volleyball officials for our home 7th and 8th grade volleyball matches. Dates are Sept. 10 and 12. You will be paid for your officiating. Call the middle school at 402-268-3411 if you are interested.
7th and 8th grade fall sports pictures are scheduled for after school on August 28.

York Parks & Recreation is hosting the Central Nebraska Youth Track and Field meet on Friday May 10th beginning at 4:00 PM. Registrations are due May 6th.
Fillmore Central boys and girls basketball teams will be putting on a camp for students in 3rd-8th grades in July. Registrations are due May 20th.

Current 1st through 6th graders are invited to attend Progressive Agriculture Safety Day on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds. Youth will participate in a variety of events designed to help them be aware of safety in potentially hazardous situations in and around rural and agricultural settings, including electricity, disability awareness, chemical look-alikes, a PTO demonstration, etc. NE Extension hosts this event in Fillmore County, along with Shickley and Fillmore Central FFA chapters, 4-H, W.I.F.E. and Fillmore County Emergency Management. Early registration forms and $5 are due April 19th; forms can be downloaded at fillmore.unl.edu. After April 19th, registration is $10/youth. The 5th graders enjoyed their field trip to Edgerton Science Museum in Aurora. Thanks to the bus driver, parent volunteers, staff, and the Egerton Science Museum for making this day possible.
Over $500 donated by FCMS students and staff members to the FFA fundraiser to support flood victims. A lot can be accomplished when we work together.
Due to track conditions in Superior, Saturday's 7th and 8th grade track meet will be held in Deshler. As of now the meet is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
