Fillmore Central Middle School will be collecting monetary donations to benefit Nebraska individuals who have been affected by the recent floods. Middle School students and families are encouraged to make a monetary donation ($1 minimum) toward project "Caring Caps" and may wear a hat to school on Wednesday. Let's see how much we can raise for our fellow Huskers!
Just a reminder, the spring middle school music concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night, March 19, in Fairmont.
Fillmore Central Middle school is excited to announce that Ty Schelkopf, a 7th grader, has qualified for the State Geography Bowl. This is the third consecutive year that Ty will represent FMCS.
Thayer Central has changed the order for the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball games on Saturday, February 9. The new order will be C, 7th, 8th. The C game will begin at 9:00 a.m and others will follow.

Due to a loss of game, the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball schedule has been updated: Additional games Monday, January 28 at Thayer Central 7th grade plays at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.; 8th grade plays at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Canceled - February 4th vs Heartland.

7th and 8th grade boys basketball games vs Centennial have been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 5 at the middle school in Fairmont. The 7th grade game will tip off at 4:30 p.m. followed by the 8th grade.

ADOPT-A-FAMILY PROJECT
The 2018 Adopt-A-Family project was a huge success. Pride group members were asked to bring in non-perishable food items to be donated to Blue Valley. A total of 1,079 items were donated. A big thank you to everyone who participated. Pictured is Mrs. Stengel, Student Council advisor, and members of the 7th and 8th grade Student Council.
Due to Milford's request, the 7th grade girls basketball game at Milford will begin at 5:00 p.m. 8th grade will follow.
