PRESIDENT’S AWARD FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE – 2020

The Presidents Award for Educational Excellence honors students exiting elementary school, middle school, and high school.  This year students in the fourth grade had the opportunity to qualify for the President’s Award for Educational Excellence.

Honoring student achievement is the purpose of the President’s Education Awards Program.  The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education in partnership with the National Association of Elementary Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

To qualify for the President’s Award for Educational Excellence students must meet the following two criteria: earn a grade point average of 90% or higher AND also achieve in the 85th percentile or higher in math or reading on the MAP standardized achievement test.  The 2019 Fall and/or Winter MAP scores were used to determine this year’s recipients.
