The three Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) at Fillmore Central teamed up again this year. The FFA, FCCLA, and FBLA chapters joined together to hold their second annual kickball tournament. Students picked out their teams throughout the past few weeks with an entry cost of one canned food item per person. Students who preferred to watch rather than play, also donated a canned food item to watch. All of the cans collected were donated to Blue Valley.
The tournament was held at the elementary school’s old baseball field. It was a
highly competitive and successful event. Pizza was provided along with drinks,
brownies, and cookies. Jill’s Sweet Shop was also onsite with delicious slushies,
nachos, and soft pretzel bites.
The tournament was a great way to start off all three organizations’ year. All of
the students had an amazing time and can’t wait for the tournament to happen again
next year!
