The girls & boys basketball teams opened SNC play last night. The girls were able to take down Heartland, picking up the win 63-23. The girls will face Centennial tonight at 5:45 p.m. in Centennial.

The boys lost a heart breaker to Thayer Central, 50-48 in OT. The boys will now play on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. in Centennial vs. David City.

Last week several FC FBLA students competed in Chadron State College Best of the West FBLA Competition. Congratulations to Alexandra for first in Intro to FBLA, Sadie for fifth in Intro to FBLA, and Kali for fifth in job interview!
The wrestling team traveled to York on Friday night for a dual & to Wilber on Saturday for the SNC Tournament. The Panthers had a great showing at the SNC tournament as the team finished 3rd out of 10 teams & had 8 medalists & 4 finalists. Individual results in photos.
The Speech team traveled to Louisville for their first in-person meet of the year. The team finished in 4th place. Individual results are in the photo.
The basketball teams were in action at home Friday night vs. Gibbon. After a slow start, the girls were able to pull away for a 49-24 victory. On the boys side, the Panthers battled, but were not able to pick up the win, falling 68-38.

The SNC Basketball tournament starts next week. Monday night the boys head to Thayer Central and the girls will play at home against Heartland.
