Mrs. Hofferber's Child Development class spent the class period remembering what it was like to be a toddler. Students partook in several activities to simulate the limitations of fine and gross motor skills that toddlers have. Students used their non-dominant hands to write, make bracelets, cut out shapes, and more!

Academic and Athletic Honors Night 2025

Yesterday, Spanish 3 and 4 classes visited Molcajete to enjoy some authentic Mexican food and present our menus. Students created menus in Spanish for Molcajete that included their favorite food from Molcajete and some new ideas. The owner of Molcajete, Jaime, and his other employees spent time reviewing our menus and chatting with us in Spanish. We had a great experience!

Benefits include 80% paid BC/BS Single Health Insurance and Retirement. Para-educator – multiple positions are available beginning in August. -185 days per year, 7.5 hours per day -New Wage from $15.50 - $18.13 an hour depending on assignment, education, and experience -Must pass background check -Benefits available include 80% paid BC/BS Single Health Insurance, personal days, paid sick leave, and State Retirement. Last Friday April 25th, the FBLA chapter held their annual banquet where they inducted their 2025-2026 school year. Thank you to everyone that attended!!!

Mrs. Schiermeyer's fifth grade students learned how to create a tornado out of plastic bottles, water, glue, food coloring and a little glitter. This ties together the book they are reading in ELA, "Night of the Twisters" and the annual presentation from Clark Poppert! 🌪️

A big thanks to Clark Poppert for sharing his first hand experience of the Grand Island Twisters of 1980. Clark has made this an annual tradition and captivates the fifth grade classes every year. Thank you for sharing your story with us!

First grade students have been learning about plants. They studied the parts of the plant and what each part does for the plant, and the life cycle. Alexis Schmidt from Fillmore County Extension office read a cute book -Tops and Bottoms. Students enjoyed learning about which part of the plant we eat. Students then tried to identify each seed.

In honor of Earth Day, the fifth grade class participated in a scavenger hunt where they were assigned to find a list of items in nature and present their findings.
