FBLA members, families, and community members are warmly invited to attend our FBLA Banquet on May 1st at 7:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. The evening will feature a dessert bar, the presentation of awards and scholarships, and the installation of our 2026–2027 officer team.

We are looking for great people to join our FC Team for the 2026-27 school as para-educators.
We have a variety of openings working with students of different ages that we are hiring. If you
enjoy working with kids and the possibility of working 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday – Friday with
no nights or weekends, and having your summers free, this might be the job for you!

Positions Available:
● Preschool Para
● Elementary Para
● High School Para

New Wage: Starting from $16.08 - $18.81 an hour depending on assignment, education, and
experience.

Duration: 185 days per year, 7.5 hours per day, August - May

Benefits:
● 80% paid BC/BS Single Health Insurance
● Personal Days
● Paid Sick Leave
● State Retirement

🎶 District Music Contest 🎶

📍 Centennial High School

This past weekend, six members of the Fillmore Central FBLA chapter competed at the State Leadership Conference in Kearney. Amity Swartzendruber earned first place in Advertising, second place in Business Communications, and received an Honorable Mention in Business Law. Ayden Jackson placed third in Public Speaking.

Both Amity and Ayden have qualified to compete at the national level in San Antonio. Overall, the chapter earned seven ribbons, reflecting their dedication, hard work, and commitment to community service throughout the year.

Today, the Omaha Street Percussion group brought an exciting burst of energy to the Rialto II Theater, where they performed for our elementary students. Using an array of buckets, drums, and recycled and repurposed objects, the performers created dynamic rhythms that captivated the audience from start to finish. Their interactive style encouraged students to clap along and feel the beat, turning the performance into a fun and engaging experience. It was a memorable event that not only entertained but also inspired creativity and appreciation for music in a unique form.
