In honor of Giving Tuesday…Mrs. Kennedy made aprons for the “lunch squad” to show our appreciation for all they do. Shelly and Tina always have a smile for the kids. Mrs. Schelkopf’s class enjoys visiting with them and thanking them for the wonderful lunches.

Elementary 12 Days of Christmas dress-up days.

Miss Shaunna's preschool class has been learning all about trees! They’ve been exploring what lives in them, what they’re made of, and how people take care of them. Along the way, they used reading, writing, math, art, and even technology to help them learn. The kids loved doing hands-on activities — from our apple taste test, doing apple aerobics, to creating pinecone turkeys and Christmas trees, to acting out the story of Henny Penny. It’s been a fun way to learn science and social studies through real-life experiences!

Today was the final day for the FBLA stack the door food drive competition. Mr. Verhage's room won for the 5th straight year! They will receive homemade breakfast sandwiches on Monday. Mrs. Patterson's homeroom came in a very close second! This was one of the best years for donations that we have had! Thank you to everyone that brought food. The FBLA officers will take the food over to Blue Valley and the little pantry on Monday afterschool.
