Fillmore Central High School is seeking a dynamic Family and Consumer Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to join our team. We are a progressive class C1 school that has great community support, staff, and students. Our community recently passed a $48.8 million school bond and had another $8 million donation for a new performing arts theater. We are located just an hour southwest of Lincoln. Coaching positions and sponsorships may be available, but are not required.
Base for 2026-2027 is $41,250. All experience accepted for our Salary Schedule. Full Family $1,050/$3,800 Dual Option Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Plan.

Today, the 5th graders did a counseling lesson on cooperation. Groups had to stack 6 cups to make a pyramid using only a rubber band and 4 strings. We talked about how a team works best, when everyone works together and everyone knows their job.
Last week the middle school pride groups participated in a Go Green poster contest. Mrs. Kimbrough's Pride won with this poster and received a Root Beer/Coke float party.
