These four young ladies were able to attend the Women’s Sophomore Pilgrimage in Lincoln at the capitol building yesterday. While they were there they got to listen to numerous state officers and see how they got there. They were also able to visit the governor's mansion, have lunch and then were even able to watch the Unicameral in session.
York University’s Children’s Theater came to the elementary this morning to share their production of the Fisherman and his Wife. Elementary students and staff enjoyed the performance and were then able to ask questions afterwards.
