
The HS track meet at Thayer Central today will have a delayed start due to severe weather. Field events will begin at 12:30 p.m and running events will start at 2:30 p.m.

Geneva’s next blood drive is this Friday, March 29, conducted by FC FFA, held in the HS multipurpose room. Park in the east lot, enter the east doors of the new addition.

Fillmore Central Schools is aware of an incident on the shuttle bus from the middle school to Geneva this afternoon. All students are safe and the school is investigating the incident. The safety of our students is our top priority.

Due the uncertain weather forecast for Saturday, the Fairbury Track Meet as been rescheduled to Friday, March 22nd. Field events will begin at 3 p.m. and running events will follow at 4 p.m.

KA Kindergarten has been PATIENTLY waiting for spring. In the winter, each student hibernated an animal when they were learning about what animals do in the winter. Today, kindergarteners helped bring their animals out of hibernation and gave them some extra love!



Fillmore Central still planning on late start today. Snow should be done late morning, county roads are messy so be careful. Drive safe, take your time, ok to be late!

FC will have a 2 hour late start today, March 14. Blizzard conditions this morning during bus time, plus poor county road conditions. Be safe!

Because of the flooding and extremely wet conditions, our buses may not be able to travel on some county roads. The bus drivers will be contacting you if there is an alternate pick up/drop off spot for your student. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Parent-Teacher conferences are from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. tonight and tomorrow night (March 4-5) at the Fillmore Central High School. Spring Break begins on Wednesday this week for all students and staff.

With the FC girls basketball playing at Devaney at 3:45pm today, remember there is a clear bag policy in place. Attached shows what is prohibited and not prohibited.


Due to FC girls basketball team playing Crofton at Devaney at 3:45, school will dismiss early today. Elementary will dismiss at 1:05, Middle School at 1:20, and High School at 1:35. GO PANTHERS!

There is also one more championship at stake this weekend, and the second one is the Class C2 Sportsmanship Award. This award would be awesome to win, and all of us can contribute to this.
Nothing would be better than winning 2 State Championships this weekend.

FC Girls BB plays at 8:45 pm Thursday at Lincoln SW. Thursday is a regular school day. The next game would be at 3:45 Friday at the Devaney Center. School would be dismissed at 1:10/1:30 on Friday if the Girls are playing in the Friday game.

Congratulations to the Lady Panthers basketball team on becoming District Champions. They will play in the State Tournament on Thursday Feb. 28th at Lincoln Southwest at 8:45 PM. Let's pack the stands and cheer on the Panthers!
