Malcolm High School is planning a "Sock the Court" event during halftime of the boys' varsity game on January 8th. Sock the Court is an event where we throw socks onto the gym floor, collect them, and then donate the socks to the People's City Mission.

Auto Lunch Calls Sent In Error --Automated lunch calls were sent out last night. Many of those calls should not have been made. We are having technical difficulties with the automated lunch call system and are working on correcting the problems. No lunch calls will be sent until students return in January and we can be assured that the calls will be correct. Please check your child’s lunch account balance in PowerSchool or contact your child’s school or Jodi Meyer in the Superintendent’s office if you have any questions/concerns regarding your child’s lunch account.

FC competed at the NSAA State Play Production on Thursday, December 6, 2018. "The Trials of Robin Hood" finished 5th place in Class C-1.
The Encore Performance of this production is scheduled for Sunday, December 9, 2018 @ 5p. Admission is free, and doors will open at 430p.

The FFA Boosters will be having a chili feed on Friday December 7th during the HS basketball games vs. St. Paul. They will start serving at 5pm. Food will include chili, hotdogs, chili dogs, and burgers.
The Fillmore Central One Act qualified for the State Play Production contest, and will perform at 5:15 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk, NE. Cost of admission is $7.00 for adults, and $5.00 for students.

Due to the anticipated timing of tomorrows weather change, the JV G/B basketball games vs. Fairbury have been canceled. Varsity girls game will start at 2:00 p.m. with boys varsity to follow.

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the Bob Arehart Wrestling Tournament in Friend scheduled for Dec. 1st has been postponed to Dec. 21st at 12:30 p.m.

The elementary winter program is tomorrow night at FCHS. Doors open at 6:30. The program will start at 7:00. The program will be streaming on Striv for anybody who isn’t able to attend.
Next week is a big week for FC. State Mock Trial is Monday and Tuesday in Omaha; State One Act Thursday in Norfolk. Go Panthers!
