Last night the FC volleyball team was able to pull off a big win against Diller-Odell for our Pink Out game! Also, the three seniors each hit a milestone this past weekend and were able to celebrate it last night in their home gym! MaKenna McCoy has over 550 digs, Addie Ekeler has over 520 kills, and Hadley McCoy has over 530 digs and over 1,100 service receptions for their careers so far. These three seniors have battled the last four years to get every one of those stats and their work is really paying off. Also it is important to note that our student section/ fans last night provided a very exciting atmosphere! Thank you to everyone that showed up to support our girls last night and every night.

The Fillmore Central Quiz Bowl went to battle on Wednesday, October 2 at the all WOMENS QUIZ BOWL, which was held in Seward. There were 19 teams in our division. The A team went 3-0 in pool play and 0-1 in tournament play. The B team went 1-2 in pool play and 4-0 in tournament play to take home the Championship of the Middle Division Competition. Congrats to them as they competed well and had a lot of GRIT as they won the final 45-40. The A team participants were: Evelyn Meyer, Peyton Komenda, and Amity Swartzendruber. The B team participants were: Ella Cook, Austyn Nun, Adilyn Myers, and Lauren Godown. All 7 of these ladies represented Fillmore Central very well. Congratulations!
