Coach Hoarty reflects on the volleyball season as it came to a close on Monday night at sub-districts.
"This year was full of change and growth. I'm proud of the way the girls embraced the challenges that made them stronger volleyball players and people. I am thankful to my six seniors who bought into the process and were dedicated to making change even when it wasn't easy. I'm excited to see some of the underclassmen step up and take the reins now. I anticipate huge growth in the off-season."

On October 9th Mrs. Patterson, Ms. Reardon, and Mr. VanDewalle organized a reality fair for their freshman classes to participate in. The students were given a career, children, and a salary; they then went to 8 different tables to talk to some professionals from the community about different expenses. The students had to make choices such as what house/ car to buy, whether or not to purchase a streaming service or not. Once through all of the tables the students had to see if they had any money left over. This event is designed to show students how fast money can go when you are paying your bills.
Congratulations to 5th grader Cullan S., as he turned in 40 Panther bucks! Cullan received a glow in the dark football, FC Panthers drawstring bag, and some delicious treats!! Keep up the great work, Cullan!!

FC FFA members (left to right) Bryson Hafer, Lilly Srajhans, Brecken Hoban, and Carson Asche traveled with their advisor, Kurt VanDeWalle, to Scottsbluff to compete in the State Land Judging competition. Brecken placed 22nd, Bryson placed 80th, and the team placed 20th.

Second grade is learning about skeletons this week. After watching a Mystery Doug video about why we have so many bones, we completed this awesome x-ray craft using crayons and oil.
