On January 23rd, Fillmore Central 1st grade students learned all about dairy from the Nebraska Extension-Fillmore County. Students virtually toured a farm, learned how dairy goes from farm to fork, and explored dairy products by making butter. While making the butter, students released lots of energy by shaking a jar of heavy whipping cream. Crackers and freshly made butter was a tasty treat enjoyed by most!
