Today students who were on the Honor Roll of Distinction for Fall 2021 had a special lunch of Pizza Hut pizza and brownie sundaes. Students that were on the Honor Roll and Honor Roll of Distinction for the Fall of 2021 were invited to the lobby to get cookies made by Mrs. Yates.

The Fillmore Central Wrestling team competed at the 2022 Nebraska State Dual Championships on Saturday. The Panthers finished the day 2-1 for a 5th place finish out of 64 teams in Class C. The individual results and a comment from Coach Komenda are in the photo.

Each semester there is a homerooms points challenge. Last semester Mr. Lockhart's homeroom won the challenge. They were treated to lunch from Mr. Theobald today. They choose Jimmy Johns.

FC FBLA hosted a Penny War between the homerooms last week to collect donations for Feed Nebraska. They hoped to raise $500, but blew that out of the water by collecting almost $1,400! Homerooms donated pennies and dollars to themselves and sabotaged others with negative points in the form of nickels, dimes, and quarters.

Tonight FC is hosting SNC Basketball. The girls play at 5:45 against Wilber-Clatonia and the boys take on Superior at 7:15. The rest of the tournament will be held at Centennial. Thursday there is a potato bar and Saturday the Waffle Man.

Friday basketball went to Gibbon. JV girls did not have a game. The JV boys won. The Varsity girls won 72-44. Lexi became the all-time leading scorer in FC history & she also broke the single game scoring record with 33 points. The varsity boys team won a nail biter 45-42.
For the first time in FC Wrestling History the team qualified for state duals Next Saturday at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. Only 8 teams qualify out of 64 and we will face 2nd seeded O'Neill in the quarterfinal round. They also got 3rd at SNC Wrestling on Saturday.
