Mrs. Hofferber’s Intro to Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) class dropped off the kindergartener’s monsters today! At the beginning of the school year kindergartener’s designed their own monsters. Over the course of the year the FCS students worked on recreating the monsters! The freshmen and kindergarteners were very excited to get the monsters!

First grade attended the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. They have been studying mammals, habitats, and insects. They enjoyed the train ride, feeding the leaves to giraffes, watching the penguins eat fish, and watching a demonstration about the cheetah.

Mrs. Hofferber's Child Development class spent the class period remembering what it was like to be a toddler. Students partook in several activities to simulate the limitations of fine and gross motor skills that toddlers have. Students used their non-dominant hands to write, make bracelets, cut out shapes, and more!

Academic and Athletic Honors Night 2025
Yesterday, Spanish 3 and 4 classes visited Molcajete to enjoy some authentic Mexican food and present our menus. Students created menus in Spanish for Molcajete that included their favorite food from Molcajete and some new ideas. The owner of Molcajete, Jaime, and his other employees spent time reviewing our menus and chatting with us in Spanish. We had a great experience!
