1A learned about Veterans Day. They had a special guest, Nate Bigelow, who talked about being deployed and showed the students some items he carries in his pack. They had the opportunity to see his Quilt of Valor that he was presented. The students also created Christmas cards that will be sent overseas to an active Geneva grad with the military care package packed by local citizens.
