Mr. Cumpston interviewed Ayden Jackson and Mrs. Meyer about the 2025 state speech meet. Ayden competed in three events at state speech and came home a CHAMPION in poetry and a 4th place medalist in POI. Watch the video for Ayden's experience participating at the state speech meet.

Wellness Day 2025- Last Wednesday, the middle school students had the opportunity to learn from wellness experts around the community. They learned about resiliency, consequences of drugs, fitness, sleep, nutrition, and anxiety. Each speaker combined education with fun! Thank you to all who were involved!

The middle school will be hosting their annual Scholastic Book Fair with Mrs. Kamler. The fair will be open Monday, April 7- Friday, April 11, from 8:10 am - 4:00 pm. Parents and guardians are welcome to come after school hours.

Mrs. Hofferber's Foods and Nutrition students took part in a cookie-making competition! Each group was tasked with coming up with their own unique cookie recipe to be judged by high school staff members! The winners from 5th period were the Shortcakes, and they made a strawberry and white chocolate chip cookie. The winners from 7th period were the Skibiti Slicers, and they made a snickerdoodle cookie!
These four students had the opportunity to attend the Sophomore Pilgrimage in Lincoln today. They got to listen to many high ranking government officials, including the governor. They also got to tour the governor’s mansion and watch legislature in action.
