🔴 This past week was Red Ribbon Week at the elementary school. Among a week full of dress-up days and activities, students had the chance to submit posters for the RRW poster contest. This year there were TWO outstanding posters that were chosen to make large posters for the elementary hallways. Congratulations to Abel and Molly on creating these amazing drug free posters. We also want to thank Sheriff Roemmich for coming to talk to the students about saying NO to drugs and alcohol.🔴

Today Mrs. Patterson's Personal Finance students, along with Karla Jacobson of Fortify Group, went on a tour of some local homes. This semester the students went to two homes in Fairmont, one in Geneva, and then drove by some different types of homes in Geneva. When touring these homes, Karla would take the students inside the homes as if she were taking potential buyers through a home. Mrs. Patterson took kids around the outside to point out some things to look at when buying a house. Later this week bankers will come talk the students through the banking side of the home buying process.
