Master Planning Update We have received results from our survey and had good participation (365 Responses). The results are posted under the Master Planning tab on our website. The board will continue to meet throughout the summer using information from the first two meetings, the survey, and information from the facility audit and educational alignment study to begin narrowing possible options and working to find the right project size and cost. We will hold another community meeting toward the end of the summer or soon after we come back to school to show you our summer progress. Fillmore Central Incoming 5 - 12 Households: I will be offering an extensive summer lesson session in June. Three days will be in Geneva and one day in Fairmont. There is no cost and it is designed to fit busy summer schedules. Any grade is welcome to start or restart an instrument. With the growth in the program the past year, there are not many school instruments available at this time, but a few remain. On June 4th, Dietze Music will hold its annual instrument showing at Fillmore Central Middle School in Fairmont from 1 - 5 p.m. I like to start this process early so when school starts in August, students are ready to go. It is very helpful for Dietze Music to know what the student is planning to play so they can bring enough of the instrument for the showing. This year the Fillmore Central All Sports Camp ran from May 20th-22nd. Roughly 100 students participated throughout the camp up from last year. Students were able to work with FC coaches and Athletes experiencing football, volleyball, softball, girls and boys basketball, girls and boys wrestling, and track and cross country.
